Become the Sustainability Coordinator For Your School

Open to: All teachers

Opportunity at a Glance: The Sustainability Coordinators lead their school’s Sustainability Plan, work closely with students to make real environmental changes at their school, and get involved in the NYC DOE’s many sustainability initiatives including Zero Waste Schools, Environmental Literacy, and energy conservation.

Event dates: Friday, September 30 – Deadline to nominate yourself as your school’s coordinator.

Location: Your school.

Take Action: Speak to your principal about becoming your school’s Sustainability Coordinator. Once designated, Sustainability Coordinators should follow these instructions to register themselves.
