Opportunity at a Glance: Participate in a full day of free programming including tours, hands-on workshops, scholar talks, and the opportunity to learn about upcoming events for the 2016-17 school year themed around the forthcoming exhibit, New York at Its Core. Five years in the making, this new exhibit is the first-ever museum show to comprehensively interpret and present the compelling story of New York’s history. Participation in this Chancellor’s Day professional development event counts towards maintaining professional certification from the NYC DOE.

Event Date: Tuesday November 8, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Election Day).

Location: The Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue (at 103rd Street), Manhattan, New York, 10029.
