Earn P-Credits this Semester Through the After School Professional Development Program

Open to: All teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: The After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP) offers high-quality, low-cost professional learning courses that educators can use towards the salary differential requirements and the New York State 100 Hours requirement. This fall, ASPDP is offering over 130 courses designed to enhance classroom skills and support student learning. Courses can be taken in-person and online, through over 30 education partners including Quikitech; Brooklyn Museum; Advancement Courses; the Intrepid, Sea, Air and Space Museum; and other non-profits, museums and educational institutions. All courses in our catalog are aligned with Common Core Standards and the Danielson Framework for Teaching.

Key dates: Monday, September 12 – Friday, January 6, 2016.

Location: Citywide and online.

Registration/RSVP deadline  Varies per class, though many online courses will close their registration on Friday, November 4.
