Chancellor Fariña Releases School Quality Reports, Announces Record High Percentage of Students Enrolling In College

Chancellor Carmen Fariña released the 2015-16 School Quality Reports and announced that New York City’s postsecondary enrollment rate is its highest ever – 55 percent of New York City’s Class of 2015 (students entering 9th grade in Fall 2011) enrolled in a two- or four-year college, vocational program, or public service program after graduation, up 2 percentage points from the previous year and up 4 percentage points from the Class of 2013.
