Opportunity at a Glance: This two-day workshop at the American Museum of Natural History will introduce teachers to the upcoming short-term exhibition, ¡Cuba!. Participants will work with Museum staff and scientists to learn about biodiversity and conservation and how they can use NGSS-aligned resources and teaching strategies to prepare students for a Museum learning experience. You must commit to attending both required sessions to register. If you do not attend both sessions for any reason, you will not receive a certificate of attendance for the PD.
Event Date: Tuesday, February 21 and Wednesday February 22, 9:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. (Midwinter Recess for NYC Schools).
