Opportunity at a Glance: Lara Vapnek, Professor at St. John’s University, member of the New York Historical Society Center for Women’s History Board of Advisors, and author of “Breadwinners: Working Women and Economic Independence, 1865-1920,” will introduce us to the women who fought for equality in the industrialized workplace and the struggles they faced. Wine and cheese will be served. $15 per person.
