Register Now for the Final Round of Showcase Visits for the 2016-2017 School Year

Open to: All teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: The Showcase Schools program supports interschool collaborative learning by opening doors to teachers and administrators citywide to visit schools that highlight promising practices. This year, 37 Showcase Schools across all boroughs and grades are sharing their journeys and strategies for implementing promising practices. Tour the school, see practices in action, talk to staff and students, and make meaningful plans for the future. In preparation for your visit, check out our resources on WeTeachNYC. You are encouraged to attend with colleagues in order to facilitate richer discussion and sharing of practices after the visit. Visitors who wish to adapt promising practices can apply for Showcase Implementation Grants from now until March 16.

Key dates: 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. various days now through April.

Location: Events take place in schools across all five boroughs.

Registration deadline: Register any time before each school visit.

Take action: Talk to your principal, view our full list of our offerings, and then register for a visit or check out the calendar of events.
