American Women’s History Panel

Open to: All teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: In honor of Women’s History Month, teachers are invited to attend a panel event featuring experts in American women’s history. Panelists will discuss under-recognized women, trends, and movements throughout American history, and the importance of ensuring an inclusive curriculum. At the end of the panel, there will be an open discussion period for teachers to ask questions and share comments with the panelists and audience members. Panelists include historians Carol Berkin, Alice Kessler-Harris, Maria Montoya, Premilla Nadasen, and Robyn Spencer. Light refreshments will be served, and giveaways will be available for attendees.

Event date: Friday, March 24, 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
