Opportunity at a Glance: Aligned to meet Common Core State Standards, Brooklyn Connections, a free award-winning program, will help you guide students through the process to create a scholarly research project on a historical Brooklyn topic. Students will have unparalleled access to the Brooklyn Public Library’s local history archive. You will receive complimentary materials, hands-on support, and unlimited access to the archive’s collection as well as special invitations and partner discounts to CTLE– approved workshops.
Key dates: Brooklyn Collection tours are scheduled to occur at mutually convenient times/dates during the school year. Partners are expected to attend the Convocation Ceremony in May 2018.
