Free PD for ELA teachers Using the “Collections” Curriculum

Open to: High school ELA teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: The workshop Collections: Introduction to the HS ELA Curriculum is ideal if you are new to a school, new to a grade or would like further study in teaching the “Collections” English Language Arts Core Curriculum. You will receive sample lessons for units one and two as well as a scope and sequence for the curriculum. You will also be provided with additional research-based teaching materials to support building vibrant literacy classrooms. Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit are available for attending the 3 sessions.

Key dates: August 28-30; 9:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m.

Location: University Settlement – Houston Street Center 273 Bowery, New York, NY 10002.
