There’s Still Time To Enroll in PD With ASPDP This Summer

Open to: All Teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: Get a jump start on the school year with a summer After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP) course. Collaborate with your peers and learn new skills that you can implement with your students this fall. All ASPDP courses earn you P-credit that counts towards your 30 and above salary differential and the New York State CTLE requirements. Some courses are still open for registration this summer and are offered both online and in-person at institutions around the city such as:

  • Capturing the City through the Camera: Documenting New York’s History at the Museum of the City of New York (Course starts Tuesday, August 15)
  • Illuminate Your Curriculum Through Interdisciplinary Collaboration at The Morgan Library & Museum (Course starts Tuesday, August 15)
  • Know Your Media: Media Literacy in the Classroom and the World at Democracy Now (Course starts Wednesday, August 23)
