Open to: Currently employed full-time teachers with at least 3 years of full-time professional K-12 or post-secondary experience by the time of departure for the seminar.
Opportunity at a Glance: The Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program provides short-term study and travel seminars abroad for U.S. educators in the social sciences and humanities for the purpose of improving their understanding and knowledge of the peoples and cultures of other countries. This year, there are opportunities to travel to India, Poland, and Ecuador. Participants are financially responsible for the following items: a participant fee of $600, passport fee, visa fee, inoculations, insurance coverage
and personal expenditures (gifts, phone calls, etc.)
Program dates: All programs take place over summer 2018, but dates vary by country.
Application Deadline: Friday, February 2.
