Opportunity at a Glance: The Middle School Quality Initiative (MSQI) supports schools in developing literacy in young adolescents, ultimately preparing them for success in high school and college. MSQI’s school site-based sessions, led by MSQI mentor schools and principals, are wonderful opportunities for educators new to MSQI and those looking to deepen their adolescent literacy practices.
- Thursday, February 8; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — Non-Fiction Stances and Sign-Posts Across the Content Areas
- Wednesday, March 14, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — Teacher Development & Culturally Responsive Literacy Instruction Through Teaming and Collaboration
