School Diversity Advisory Group Town Hall Event

Open to: Teachers, students, parents, advocates, DOE employees and community members.

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a forum to share how our schools can reflect the diversity of New York City. Share your voice on issues of school diversity to inform the NYC Department of Education School Diversity Advisory Group’s policy recommendations. This is one of a series of town halls providing an opportunity for for attendees to give feedback and share their perspectives and own goals and priorities for school diversity. This will be interactive event with small group discussions involving all participants, including students, parents and families, advocates, DOE employees, and community members. (To accommodate all, child care, language translation, and food will be provided. Identification is required to attend.)

Date: Tuesday, March 27; 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m.)

Location: Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women, 283 Adams Street, Brooklyn.
