Opportunity at a Glance: The NYC Schools Survey deadline has been extended and we want to hear from you! Join parents, families, and middle and high school students in contributing to the NYC School Survey. Each year the survey helps school leaders understand what key members of the school community say about the learning environment at each school. The 2017-18 version of the NYC School Survey provides actionable information on school quality that is aligned to the DOE’s research-based Framework for Great Schools. The survey collects information about a school’s capacity across six essential elements – Rigorous Instruction, Supportive Environment, Collaborative Teachers, Effective School Leadership, Strong Family-Community Ties, and Trust – that drive student achievement. Teacher feedback is essential to the dialogue about how to make our schools a better place to learn.
Survey Deadline: Friday, April 20.
