Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a forum to share how our schools can reflect the diversity of New York City. Share your voice on issues of school diversity to inform the NYC Department of Education School Diversity Advisory Group’s policy recommendations. There are two town halls left taking place in Staten Island and Manhattan. This series of town halls provide an opportunity for for attendees to give feedback and share their perspectives and their own goals and priorities for school diversity. This will be interactive event with small group discussions involving all participants, including students, parents and families, advocates, DOE employees, and community members. (To accommodate all, child care, language translation, and food will be provided. Identification is required to attend.)
Date: The next town hall will take place on Tuesday, May 15.
Location: CSI High School for International Studies, 100 Essex Drive, Staten Island.
