Opportunity at a Glance: Come explore the resources of the New York Botanical Garden with us. Participants will learn how to use plants and nature to engage grades PreK-2 students in science across the curriculum, with connections to literacy, math, and art. Each day of the workshop will have a plant part theme (e.g., seeds, leaves, flowers) which will guide our exploration of plant structures, functions, the role of plants in our lives and in the natural world. The cost of the course is $325 and teachers have the opportunity to earn 3 P-Credits with successful completion.
Event dates: Monday, July 9 – Saturday, July 14.
Location: New York Botanical Garden, Bronx.
