Opportunity at a Glance: The New York City Writing Project will host two summer institutes for educators interested in learning more about the NYCWP’s student-centered ways of approaching literacy instruction in all subject areas. In these sessions, participants will learn to engage students in a variety of text types and support student learning in reading and writing, come away with a variety of strategies designed to reach all students, forge professional relationships with those in other schools, and join the tradition of teachers teaching teachers. The cost to attend each session is $300. Participants will be eligible to receive up to 20 hours of CTLE credit.
