Refer a Student: ROSES – Resilience, Opportunity, Safety, Education, and Strength

Open to: All middle and high school teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: You are invited to refer at-risk students between the ages of 11-17 to join the Resilience, Opportunity, Safety, Education, and Strength (ROSES) program. The ROSES advocacy program is a free, voluntary, community-based, gender responsive, trauma-informed and strengths-based program that pairs girls with an individual advocate to help them build up goals and necessary skills. ROSES operates across the five boroughs and is being implemented through New York University. Youth who are referred will have a 50 percent chance of receiving a ROSES advocate and all youth and parents will be invited to be part of the ROSES evaluation.
