Archival Research: An Introduction at the Brooklyn Public Library

Opportunity at a Glance: 
Join the Brooklyn Public Library for a day in the Brooklyn Collection for an in-depth and practical introduction to archival research. Through a mix of discovery, experiential, and cooperative learning, participants will learn how to navigate an archive, how to find and integrate archival sources (both primary and secondary) into every step of the research process, and how to work through research challenges including how to conduct effective internet research, develop a research question, and properly cite sources. This workshop is eligible for 5 CTLE credits. Registration costs $20.
