Opportunity at a Glance: The Teacher’s Choice Program provides funding to eligible teachers to purchase instructional materials and classroom supplies. This year you can receive $250 again, the same reimbursement level as offered through Teacher’s Choice last year. Eligible purchases using Teacher’s Choice funds could have been made as early as August 1, 2018 even though funds will not be distributed until later in the fall; just save your original receipts.
Key dates: All purchases between August 1, 2018 and January 13, 2019 are eligible. Please save all receipts.
- Friday, October 19 – submit Request for Non-Participation (Opt-Out Form) if you do not wish to participate this year.
- Friday, November 30 – funds will be distributed into eligible teacher’s pay.
- Sunday, January 13, 2019 – Last day to purchase materials.
- Friday, January 18, 2019 – Last day to submit paperwork for proof of purchase.
