Opportunity at a Glance: Discover the Morgan’s school program offerings highlighting the Morgan Book Project as a complement to Common Core State Standards and a resource for meeting the professional criteria outlined in Danielson’s Framework for Teaching. Participants will engage in Colors of the World: Illuminated Manuscripts in the Age of Exploration, an interdisciplinary school program that broadens students’ perspectives of books and museums, explores strategies for teaching medieval painting techniques using professional grade and historical art materials, and reflects on integrating the arts and global history in order to meet high learning standards.
