Work with Columbia University Engineers to Bring Engineering into Your STEM Classroom

Open to: High school STEM teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance:  Integrate engineering design into your STEM class with Hk Maker Lab and Columbia University this summer. This six-week opportunity will boost your technical skills and make you a master of the engineering design process. You’ll get to work with Columbia engineering faculty and other teachers to create engaging learning opportunities that blend your STEM coursework with engineering skills and practices. You’ll also receive $3000 as well as two years of ongoing support from the program. Weave engineering into your math and science courses, or to pilot brand new engineering classes. The application is now open.

Key dates: The program runs from July 15 — August 22, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
