Opportunity at a Glance: Join Wave Hill for their climate change themed Chancellor’s Day Professional Development event where teachers will learn effective practices to connect the natural world to classroom learning through discussions and hands-on activities, while enjoying Wave Hill’s grounds. In the morning, discover ways to help students become active participants in learning conversations. In the afternoon, participate in one of two workshops that explore different content and pedagogical methods while utilizing different entry points for deeper learning in education. Registration is required, and the fee is $65/person (20% discount for Title I school teachers). CTLE is available.
