Opportunity at a Glance: This summer, join educators from around the country for innovative, hands-on, and teacher-led professional development in STEM. There are a variety of offerings taking place throughout the summer. Revolutionize the way you teach science using a student-centered active learning approach, shown to increase classroom engagement and understanding of key science concepts. Each workshop includes hands-on experiments and curriculum to use in your classroom. Sessions are eligible for CTLE. Cost varies depending on the session.
Key dates: Workshops run from July through August and vary from 3 days to 3 weeks.
Location: Most workshops are held at Teachers College (525 West 120th Street New York, NY 10027) but workshops may be held at various locations around the city.
