Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Museum of Jewish Heritage for this special opportunity to hear from experimental filmmaker and animator Jeff Scher, who won an Emmy for his work on the HBO documentary The Number on Great-Grandpa’s Arm, and from Professor James Waller, Cohen Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State College, who will address the topic of confronting genocide. Teachers will select their afternoon program: a Museum tour (self-guided visit to Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away, a facilitated tour of the special exhibition Ordinary Treasures) or a workshop on the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising with with the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation. CTLE is available. This event is free, but pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided to teachers who register by May 30.
