Spend Chancellor’s Day at the Jewish Museum: Art & Biography

Open to: All teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: Consider how works of art can contribute to the understanding of an individual’s life story, and how a biographical treatment can assume many different creative forms. Experience works of art in the exhibition, Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything along with works of art in the Jewish Museum’s collection, and participate in a hands-on workshop that integrates art making and writing. $35 (includes light breakfast and pizza lunch). Teachers in self-contained special education classes and special education teachers in an ICT class may register free of charge by calling 212.423.3270. CTLE is available.
