Learn this summer at the Museum of Jewish Heritage’s Meeting Hate With Humanity Summer Institute

Open to: Middle and high school teachers of ELA and Social Studies.

Opportunity at a Glance: This summer, apply to attend the Museum of Jewish Heritage’s weeklong Meeting Hate with Humanity Summer Institute from July 8 – 12, which examines best practices for teaching about the Holocaust. Hear from expert scholars, study artifacts in the Museum’s galleries, explore the Museum’s Holocaust curriculum, and meet with Holocaust survivors. Participants will earn 24 CTLE hours and are eligible to earn two P-credits through the NYCDOE ASPDP. This course is open to active middle and high school teachers of ELA and Social Studies, and attendance at all five sessions is mandatory. There is no Museum fee for this course.
