Register for #DigIn Camps Working Sessions and Learn about Digital Accessibility and Inclusion

Open to: Teachers that are creating content that’s shared with parents and families; teachers who put info on your school’s website.

Opportunity at a Glance: Did you know that NYC school websites have to be accessible to people with disabilities by December 2020? The Office of Digital Inclusion and eChalk are hosting Digital Inclusion Camps (working sessions that help schools meet this commitment) where you can learn:

  • What digital accessibility is and who it affects
  • How to know if your school’s website is accessible
  • How to create accessible digital content
  • And more!

These camps are open to all schools—whether you use Google, WordPress, eChalk, or something else! Food and refreshments will be provided. CTLE is available.

Key dates: There are two sessions offered (select the date of your choice when you register):

  • July 17, 2019, 5:00–8:00 p.m. (deadline to register is Monday, July 15)
  • August 21, 2019, 5:00–8:00 p.m. (deadline to register is Monday, August 19)
