Summer Workshop: Stonewall 50 — LGBTQ Life in NYC 

Open to: All teachers. 

Opportunity at a Glance:In the years surrounding the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, Greenwich Village became an epicenter for the LGBTQ community. In this exciting two-day collaboration with the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project, tour our exhibition Stonewall 50 and then attend a walking tour of Greenwich Village to discover historic social gathering spaces that created a sense of community for LGBTQ individuals in times of brewing political agitation. Coffee and pastries will be served on July 23. Participants will receive 5 CTLE hours. $35 per person

Location:This workshop will meet at the New-York Historical Society (170 Central Park West) on Tuesday, July 23rd and at Christopher Park next to the Gay Liberation Monument for the walking tour on July 24th
