Explore NYC’s Watersheds: Apply for the Wave of Action Program

Open to: Elementary teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: Are you looking for a way to make a change in your school community? Join the Genovesi Environmental Study Center and local organizations to learn about New York City’s watersheds and explore water conservation in NYC. Through five days of professional learning, participants will learn strategies to incorporate hands-on science instruction and service-learning in an after-school club and develop and share a PSA with their school community. Participants will have an opportunity to take their students on two field trips. CTLE is available for this opportunity.
