Immigrant New York with Rebecca Kobrin: An Academy for Teachers master class

Open to: All full-time teachers. 

Opportunity at a Glance: Consider the intersection of immigration, race, and politics in cities throughout the world using the great immigrant city of New York as an example, and with the help of memoirs, literature, and digital mapping sources. Led by Columbia University historian Rebecca Kobrin. CTLE-credit is available. Cost: $250, but please apply even if you are concerned you or your school can’t afford tuition. Scholarships are available.
