Teach for the DREAM: Two Upcoming Information Sessions

Open to: All teachers, ELA and Math teachers. 

Opportunity at a Glance: The DOE’s Office of Equity and Access is seeking great teachers to work to support students in the DREAM program this winter and spring. The DREAM program provides Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT) prep to students who are currently underrepresented at the eight specialized high schools. DREAM operates with the goal that high-quality, engaging SHSAT prep can help increase socioeconomic and geographical diversity at these specialized high schools. Learn more about the program and how you can make a lasting, positive impact in our students’ lives this summer. All teachers hired to the DREAM program are compensated at the Per Session rate, as per UFT collective bargaining. DREAM’s winter and spring program will run on Saturdays starting on February 1, from 8:30 am-1:00 pm.

Registration deadline: Rolling as space is available.
