Opportunity at a Glance: How can you motivate learners, increase engagement, and support students’ emotional needs? From the earliest grade levels to high school learners, teachers need relevant, clear, and actionable plans to engage students in writing that meets them where they are, advances their learning, and builds upon their foundational writing skills. In this three-part series, we’ll use the NYS Instructional Leadership Framework as a guide for incorporating reflective writing into your curriculum and using portfolios as projects to enhance learner motivation in your classroom.
