Apply to be a Host Teacher for the Academy’s Scientist-in-Residence Program

Open to: STEM teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: NYC middle and high school STEM teachers who are interested in finding new ways to engage their students in authentic science learning are encouraged to apply to Scientist-in-Residence. This program pairs educators with a science professional to create and implement a research project throughout the year.
Teachers get the opportunity to bring a real-world scientist into the classroom to help mentor their students and will receive a stipend for their participation. Check out our website for more details, FAQs, and the application link. This opportunity is eligible for CTLE credits.
