Opportunity at a Glance: To showcase the importance of being counted in the 2020 Census, WSNYC has recently created and produced two empowering short videos: CensusGirl and Count Us In. Each video highlights the significance of the census, debunks misinformed perceptions and is accompanied by student-centered activities for online instruction. Participants in the workshop will learn how to utilize the new WSNYC 2020 Census videos and teaching materials that are relevant for both high school students and adult learners.
