Opportunity at a Glance: The study of the Reconstruction Era in American history is essential to an understanding of citizenship and democracy in the United States today. During this workshop we will review Facing History’s “case study” approach to teaching the era of Reconstruction.
In addition, we will explore curriculum resources found in The Reconstruction Era and the Fragility of Democracy unit for in person, hybrid or remote teaching.
