Opportunity at a Glance: In this workshop, participants will unpack the Bilingual Common Core Progressions for HLA; including how to address and develop metacognitive learning in a hybrid Home Language Arts (HLA) classroom. They will engage in using strategies that address complex reading and writing in the HLA class, and plan HLA lessons to support English Language Learners (ELLs) meeting the Next Generation Standards.
