Opportunity at a Glance: Take a short trip south as summer draws to a close and join the
American Shakespeare Center in an exploration of three plays and their relationship to the character of war.  Find new ways to draw your students attention to the way Shakespeare treats war in his plays.

In addition, see Henry V, Macbeth, and All’s Well that Ends Well in this weekend outing before school consumes us again.

  • Friday August 13th from 1:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. – Staging battle, Blood (onstage and in the classroom), Provocation and Peace
  • Saturday August 14th from 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. – Staging Travesty, Idle threats, The Language of Avoidance
  • Shows: Henry V, Macbeth, and All’s Well that Ends Well- Friday August 13th and Saturday August 14th start time 7:30p.m. and Saturday start time 2:00p.m.
