Opportunity at a Glance: From sacred spaces to settlement houses, these places of gathering have inspired and revolutionized generations of Lower East Side women to the call of activism. During this 90-minute workshop Education staff from the Museum at Eldridge Street and Henry Street Settlement will share the stories of reformers, entrepreneurs and unexpected activists who made their mark on New York City and American women’s history.
Tickets: $10/person; A Zoom link will be emailed to participants one day prior to the program. (Please email kvogel@henrystreet.org if you are not able to pay this fee due to financial hardship.)
Participants may receive 1.5 CTLE Hours
