Maus: The Backstory with Art Spiegelman (CTLE credits available)

Opportunity at a Glance: Maus, Art Spiegelman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel, was groundbreaking both in its unusual treatment of the Holocaust and in the way it brought comics into the mainstream for an adult audience.  Join us for a discussion with its author about the history of this remarkable novel and the artists who made it possible.

Learn from Spiegelman in the first two sessions and exchange ideas with each other during the third session.

Participants are selected by application/nomination, and have some homework for each session.

CTLE credits offered. Cost: $175, paid by your school. Scholarships available.
