Opportunity at a Glance: African American women’s activism is vital to addressing racial disparities and unmet community needs, yet largely goes unrecognized in U.S. economic history.  Join us during this three session learning series and explore with other colleagues, the implications of the invisibility of Black women’s unpaid, collective work for economic analysis and public policy, and recover ideas of economist Sadie T. M. Alexander. See below for session details.

Session Details:

  • Sessions 1 and 2: Teachers learn from Dr. Nina Banks
  • Session 3: Exchange ideas with each other

**There will be some homework for each session.

CTLE credits offered. Cost: $175, paid by your school. Scholarships are available.
