Open to: STEM Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: From climate change to vaccine efficacy, science topics are at the heart of many of today’s biggest news stories. During this webinar, science educators will discuss how they use The New York Times reporting to connect their classrooms to the current events shaping our world.
During the webinar, we will explore the following:
- Popular Science Times features;
- Video series; and
- Recent stories with 3-D modeling.
Plus we will spotlight relevant Learning Network resources like our STEM Writing Contest, Lesson of the Day and What’s Going On in This Graph? series. We want teachers to leave with practical teaching ideas and resources they can use in their science classrooms right away.
