Explore Perspectives on World War II in the Pacific Theater

Open to: Grades K-12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: A diverse cross-section of Americans participated in waging the Pacific War, on the battlefield and on the home front.  Yet, too many stories are still underrepresented.  During this two-week Institute participants will examine World War II through multiple and diverse narratives and perspectives.  This two week institute offers participants a chance to develop a classroom practice which explores a full, layered and accurate history in a way which challenges and engages your students.

If selected to participate in this hybrid experience, you will receive a $2,200 stipend.
