Open to: K–5th Grade Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this two-day workshop, we will discuss how working in a nature journal can build on students’ ideas and experiences while identifying as part of our scientific community. Participants will engage, conceptualize, and experience how nature journaling ties into the Next Generation Science Standard’s sensemaking practices. We encourage participants to bring their favorite art tool and a notebook on this journey of combining science, creativity, and pedagogy.
This workshop is free and offers CTLE credits upon completion.
