Opportunity at a Glance: Take part in Rocking the Regents to demystify the NYS English Regents and design curriculum aligned to the test’s expectations.  During this course participants will learn how to l
ocate leverage areas for instruction by doing the following:

  • Read the Regents: Investigate the required knowledge and skills that impact student performance within each part of the exam.
  • Dig into Data: Use exam rubrics as an instructional roadmap and explore what really determines a student’s score on the exam.
  • Design Targeted Instruction: Identify differentiated instructional strategies that will meet students where they are and help move them to the next level.
