Opportunity at a Glance: Take part in Rocking the Regents to demystify the NYS English Regents and design curriculum aligned to the test’s expectations. During this course participants will learn how to locate leverage areas for instruction by doing the following:
- Read the Regents: Investigate the required knowledge and skills that impact student performance within each part of the exam.
- Dig into Data: Use exam rubrics as an instructional roadmap and explore what really determines a student’s score on the exam.
- Design Targeted Instruction: Identify differentiated instructional strategies that will meet students where they are and help move them to the next level.
