Opportunity at a Glance: This master class, to be conducted in Mandarin, will be taught by Professor Wei Su, who is legendary at Yale for his ability to make students fall in love with Mandarin and embrace a lifelong pursuit of understanding it. He will explain his unique approach to language instruction, which looks beyond the mechanics of the language and reveals its charms and cultural depths.
Teachers learn from Professor Su in the morning, and exchange ideas with each other in the afternoon. There will be some homework.
- CTLE credits offered.
- Cost: $350, paid by your school. Scholarships are available.
