Opportunity at a Glance: Please join Gateway National Recreation Area and the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy as we continue our professional development series, Phenology: Plants, Climate Change and Ecology in NYC.  Learn how to activate urban green space – from street trees to local parks – as an opportunity for place-based STEM learning.  We will use an active citizen science monitoring program in the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge as a case study in leading your students through analyzing and visualizing community generated ecological data sets.
