Open to: Health Education Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Participants explore a range of approaches to make Health Education classes more inclusive for students and families who hold diverse identities. Participants will learn the following:
- Why and how classroom strategies can increase school connectedness and promote success for all students; and
- Learn how to use several tools, including age-appropriate recommended lesson plans for teaching students about gender identity and sexual orientation.
Webinars are offered for Grades K-5 teachers and Grades 6-12 teachers. Visit our Professional Learning Catalog for details and dates to register by grade band and view required pre-work.
