Apply to be a Remote Teacher

Open to: High School Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: In order to provide increased equity and access, Virtual Learning Classrooms (previously called the Remote Teaching Program) offer schools the opportunity to enroll students in rigorous, remote classes that are not currently offered at their school, including foreign language, Advanced Placement (AP) classes, and electives.  Live classes will be taught synchronously by excellent, certified teachers before, during and after the regular school day.
Remote teachers will enjoy virtual teaching and use edtech tools and strategies to ensure an engaging learning environment. Remote teachers are content-experts and the teachers of record. They teach from a DOE building.
